Our 2023 edition broke all the records, but what happened behind the scenes to make this edition the best yet We take you through the hidden figures of VivaTech.

Average number of steps for VivaTech employees over the four days of the event. There is a lot of ground to cover, from Stage One to the Impact Mile to the Bridge and ending in the Future of Sport Hall, our employees were all over the place from set up to tear down to make sure this year was the best yet.

Number of food orders through the Sunday app. Our speedy vendors at the Food Court served up some exquisite dishes, from Banh Mi to Korean fried chicken, so attendees were fueled up for a full day of business.

Number of networking connections made through the VivaTech app. Attendees networks were mightily expanded thanks to the app. They could contact exhibitors, scan other attendee passes, and schedule business meetings at the Bridge.

Number of side events hosted around Paris. From an opening night at rue Montorgueil to cocktails on a rooftop overlooking the Arche de Triomphe, the side events were buzzing this year. Thousands of connections were made outside the Porte de Versailles walls.

Number of pitch sessions at the Pitch Studio. On stage were 204 participants, including startups, investors, and jury members. The Pitch Studio allows startups to take the spotlight and explain why their solutions are so innovative.

Number of international ministers present. From near and far, international ministers came to VivaTech to represent their countries, connect with other ecosystems, and speak about their own startup and tech programs.

From his success at early Paypal to the founding and development of Tesla, SpaceX, and Neuralink, and even his recent purchase of Twitter, Musk spoke about the core missions of the companies he leads in a turbulent conversation with Maurice Levy. Number of Explorer Tours taken. HUB Institute experts led groups of attendees on two-hour guided tours around the VivaTech floor to identify the key innovations shaping their industry. From the newest SaaS platforms transforming businesses to renewable energy solutions, the tours focused on the brightest startups in each sector.
